With themes of mindfulness, self regulation, kindness & friendship, growth mindset, gratitude, and more, this social emotional learning (SEL) unit provides kindergarten, first grade, and primary kids with the tools and coping skills they need to face any challenge and live a life they love!<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Lessons for the Soul <\/em>is the product of a very personal journey in mental health, mindfulness, meditation, and timeless ancient wisdom. What began as a tool for myself<\/strong> organically grew and gradually transformed into what you see here; a resource for both students<\/strong> and teachers<\/strong> in an area very much lacking in consistency and effectiveness within most of our modern school systems. In my opinion, self-regulation, mental health, social-emotional skills, REAL community, mindfulness, movement, healthy habits, and true self-knowledge all contribute to a healthy mind and soul<\/strong>. That is the ultimate hope of this product.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Who is this product for?<\/strong><\/ins><\/p>\n

Like I mentioned above, Lessons for the Soul <\/em>was originally made for myself\/adults<\/a> but this most recent version has been completely overhauled and adapted to now reach our youngest learners from PRESCHOOL to JUNIOR grades<\/strong>. This exact curriculum can be used with the same students year after year and the experience will be totally different because it is an experience of self-understanding, practice, and personal growth.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

How this product is organized:<\/strong><\/ins><\/p>\n

Lessons For the Soul <\/em>is divided into 10 themes (see below<\/em>). Each theme consists of 3 or 4 lessons (aside from the first theme which has 10 lessons!) that are generally organized as follows:<\/p>\n
