Use this Gingerbread Baby by Jan Brett resource independently or as part of the daily 12 READ ALOUDS OF CHRISTMAS advent calendar countdown reveal: designate a time on each of the 12 days leading up to Christmas break where kids can unwrap a book and reveal the day’s surprise read aloud. Then, complete some or all of the simple but FUN accompanying activities.
