With 5 games included, this LOW PREP “I Have, Who Has?” financial literacy game is perfect for students in grade 1, grade 2, and grade 3 as they learn all about Canadian money, covering concepts from identifying coins and bills, and adding & counting money. Perfect for reviewing concepts & building strong money skills in a whole group setting.
If you’ve never played a version of “I have…who has?” you’re missing out!! Not only do students LOVE this particular one in my own classroom, but I love that it practices math concepts right along side of self-regulation skills (attention & concentration, listening skills, patience, taking turns, AND oral language skills!!!).
Basically each student gets a card, with the teacher getting the first card in the series. The teacher will read the card then ask (as written directly on the card) for a coin/bill/money amount (depending on the game you choose) that another student has. All students will look at their cards to determine if they have the correct response. Continue until all cards have been read.
