A cute Elephant and Piggie writing craft & gratitude bulletin board display based on The Thank You Book for learning about, feeling, and expressing gratitude…perfect for Thanksgiving or anytime!
🍁 Gratitude Activities for Thanksgiving…or ANYTIME!
I was once told by a loved and valued veteran teacher to use literacy as your springboard, especially in early elementary. Books have always been an integral part of my classroom and are often the springboard for learning across all subjects ever since.
This set is built around just that; Each resource begins with a carefully chosen story that captures the spirit of gratitude and togetherness, followed by hands-on, standards-aligned activities that reinforce literacy, SEL, and creative thinking skills. Although created with Thanksgiving in mind, this activity can be used any time of the year and is designed to keep students learning, loving, and feeling a whole lot of gratitude for all of our blessings!
Included in Thanksgiving Gratitude Activities #2:
Featured read aloud: An Elephant & Piggie Book, The Thank You Book by Mo Willems (no need to purchase this book if you don’t own it; if your library doesn’t have it, YouTube does!)
